This new deck from U.S. Games consists of the Major Arcana from the Waite deck displayed in black and white. The white portions have been painted with glow in the dark (fluorescent) paint. The cards are smaller than average at 2 3/4" X 4 1/8".   The back design features the face in the Moon from the Moon card and are reversible. The backs also glow in the dark. The fluorescent paint looks off-white in normal lighted conditions. To make them glow in the dark, they must be laid out under a strong light for 15 minutes. Once this is done, they will glow quite nicely with a greenish color. The cards are recognizable when glowing in a darkened room and the fluorescent glow is rather eerie. The instructions state that they will glow for about five minutes. The cards have been painted with the fluorescent ink first and the line drawings of the card scenes have been painted on top of the fluorescent ink. This gives the line drawing a raised effect which can be felt when handling the cards.

There is no little booklet with this deck. There are three cards that provide brief upright and reversed meanings. Four spreads are described: The Nightly Draw, The Past/Present/Future Spread, The Star Spread and the Celtic Cross. It is good to see US Games provide some easy-to-use spreads, in addition to the Celtic Cross.

The deck comes in a box that is designed for display in a retail establishment. It has a cut-out in front that allows the title card to be seen and touched. This is nice because it lets you feel the raised ink. The top of the box has a piece that has a hole to allow the deck to be hung on a rod for display. This apparatus can be cut off to make the deck easier to store at home. This deck would probably be a hit at Halloween parties or slumber parties.
