Tarot Sources

Sites on this page are ones with whom Michele Jackson and/or I have personally dealt.  Tarot Passages is not responsible for any problems you might have with particular vendors, but please let me know if a vendor is no longer providing service.

Tarot Decks

U.S. Games Systems - largest publisher of Tarot Decks in the world.

Llewellyn - publishes several decks and deck/book sets

Alida - has over 400 different decks in stock. I have consistently received outstanding service from them. They are in Italy, but they speak English well. Highly recommended.

Il Trigono - Another Italian source with a good selection and good service.

Raretarot - Excellent service. Some prices are higher than can be gotten elsewhere so check around. However, this site also has out of print decks that are not available at other sites.

Yves Daniel - I like to call him my "French Connection."  He's French, and a great connection for rare tarot decks.  In recent months, I've bought the Amber Tarot, Tarot of St. Jacques, and the fabulous Tarot de la Rea from him, among other rare goodies.  I ordered decks from him via email and got my decks within a week!  Contact him to find out what great decks he has available.

Sasuga Books offers numerous Japanese decks at reasonable prices.   Customer service is outstanding.  Some decks take a while to arrive, but at these prices, I can be patient.

Sources for some hard to find decks can be found elsewhere on my site.

Tarot Bags by Betty Diamond - Betty's bags are attractive, simple and inexpensive.

Kimaginings Tarot Equipage - Assorted bags with wonderful designs.

World of Boxes - Tarot boxes with engraved and colored scenes from the Waite deck.

Crystal Moon Mystical Crafts - Crystal Sage (Tapestry Magazine) has made more of my tarot bags than anyone.  She says I'm her best customer.  I chose her to make the bags that went with the Storyteller Tarot because I love the silk-linings and individual touches, like glass, not plastic, beads on the ribbon drawstrings

Janet  sells envelope-style bags made of drapery fabric and lined in satin.  They are secured with a snap--very chic.

You may know Valerie Sim-Behi as Comparative Tarot's List Owner Extraordinaire or as a frequent contributor to Tarot Passages.  But she also makes lovely lined bags with a similar drawstring to Betty's--she probably lets her cats play with the tassel, though--the little cats anyway.

Rosefairy's bags come in different styles and range in price from $9 - $20.  Her fabric selection is HUGE, and the bags are lovely.

Miscellaneous - Reading cloths, Jewelry

Tarot Tankas by Joyce Shaffer - Individually crafted tankas focusing on the tarot card of your choice.

Amulets by Merlin - Tarot Amulets and Jewelry. Each piece is hand made. Pieces available in Brass or Silver.

Handbound, velvet covered Tarot Books by Rosehips Productions.

Hand-painted mugs, tiles, vases with tarot images from the Voyager, Motherpeace, and other decks by Clarice Sedgley.
