Reading with the World Spirit Tarot - Reading by Sally Anne Stephen
Sally Anne Stephen's Palette of Creative Possibilities Spread:
The focus of this spread is
find ways to paint upon your empty canvas of creative pursuit to realize the
possibilities and obstacles of seeing a project through from beginning to end.
The card layout represents
different aspects of the Artist's Palette.
1. The Grip - What hold
does the creative process have on me at this time?
The Magician - a card of
focused energy. The Magician moves
and reacts in a conscious, knowing manner.
In this position, the creative process is a known presence...
spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically.
The Magician will help to keep a confident grip and ingenious outlook on
the project that lies ahead.
2. My Brushes - How can I
best utilize the tools at hand?
Temperance teaches us balance and moderation.
Temperance guides us to think before we act, so the tools for creativity
should be of something you feel considerable control.
This is not the time to strike out into a new medium.
3. Primary Color - What
sparks my creative impulse?
Ace of Wands - talk about
a perfect match! This glowing wand
sparks the perfect fire to start a creative endeavor.
Trust your intuition and allow the Ace of Wands to light your way to find
inspired ideas and concepts.
4. Secondary Color - What
fuels my motivation?
The Star ascends with graceful confidence.
You move ahead with hope and optimism.
The Star radiates beauty against a dark sky and twinkles with a kind
acknowledgement when people gaze upon her with wonder and admiration.
Don't cast a shadow on praise and encouragement if you wish upon your
Star to shine bright!
5. Tertiary Color - What
drives my long term commitment to the project?
The Two of Swords warns of the
potential to fall into self-doubt after a period of inward contemplation.
You might lose step and fall to uncertain future if you over think your
next move. The bridge across this
chasm is continuing to trust your primary intuition...you know the way and you
could get there blindfolded!
6. Painting Medium - What can I add to extend and develop my creativity to bring it to a finished result?
The Eight of Pentacles tells you that hard work and dedication
bring you gratifying
completion. A person of diligent
discipline gains the skill and experience needed to become a master their
creative talents. Adding these
qualities into other elements of your Palette will help ensure that your
finished project unveils itself to great reward.
